Visitations

Basingstoke & North Hampshire Hospital is an ESSKA accredited international visitation centre for knee osteotomy. In addition, the International Osteotomy Masterclass runs annually in December at our unit.

If you are a health professional who would like to visit our centre, please contact my NHS secretary, Jennifer Gormanly who will assist you.

Visitations may also be arranged for soft tissue knee surgery through Jennifer Gormanly.

Enquiries to visit our research setup should be made through our research manager, Angie Dempster at angie.dempster@hhft.nhs.uk

Referrals

Referrals can be made to my NHS clinic via Jennifer Gormanly, or privately via Sue Horrigan.

All referrals for parentally donated hamstrings allograft reconstruction in paediatric patients must be through the Candover Clinic or my NHS practice at Basingstoke & North Hampshire Hospital due to Human Tissue Authority licencing restrictions.

Please make imaging available, as well as reports, at the time of referral.

Fellowships

We accept applications from post-FRCS exam candidates (preferably post-CCT) for fellowships which run for 6 months or 12 months either from January and July, depending on availability. The post is recognised for training by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

The fellowship timetable is split between NHS practice with Mr Sam Yasen and Mr Mike Risebury, and private practice with Professor Adrian Wilson. There will be a research component to all posts.

All posts are subject to a competitive application process, however enquiries can be made through Jennifer Gormanly.
