I trained at Guys & St Thomas’ School of Medicine, graduating with a Triple Distinction in undergraduate medicine (MBBS), while I obtained a Scholarship to study for a First Class Honours in a BSc in Physiology in 2006.

My surgical training was undertaken in the Wessex region. I was awarded the Sir Walter Mercer Gold Medal in Trauma & Orthopaedics for the most exceptional examination performance in the UK in 2014. I was subsequently appointed as the British Orthopaedic Association Young Ambassador and invited to represent the UK at the Hong Kong International Congress in 2015.

Due to my passion for sports, I am dual-qualified in Sports & Exercise Medicine, and I was also awarded the McLeod Medal in 2014 again for the best performance in the country. I was subsequently appointed as a Member of the Faculty of Sports & Exercise Medicine (MFSEM).

I am Fellowship trained in Trauma surgery and advanced Knee surgery. I additionally hold degrees in Engineering (MSc – with distinction) from Cardiff University, and Teaching at Bristol University (PGCE – again with distinction).

I am an honorary Teaching Fellow at the University of Southampton and hold a national appointment as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy(FHEA). I have a broad experience of teaching from undergraduate level to international lecturing and presentations.

I am the Clinical Research Lead at the Department of Orthopaedics, Basingstoke Hospital. I am also a Research Fellow at the University of Winchester and provide clinical supervision for PhD students. I have published widely on ligament surgery and osteotomy around the knee, and review articles for several orthopaedic journals.

My NHS practice is based at Basingstoke & North Hampshire Hospital, where I lead the acute knee service. My private practice is at both the Candover Clinic and The BMI Hampshire Clinic.
